A unique antique leather postcard came to the Lawrence Public Library’s possession via mail in donation. The card features the Lawrence Free Public Library’s original building designed in the Romance Revival Style by George G. Adams in 1892.

Henry Mann, Lawrence WW1 Project

Pvt. Henry Mann died from wounds on November 16, 1918 during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He is buried in France and a short bridge over the South Canal on Parker St is named for him. Governor Charlie Baker narrates Mann's story.
